Hello all ,
i want ask you if on Q4OS if the updates are displayed in an icon like on other distributions such as LMDE or do you have to do something special?
To be honest and frank, I am very happy with LMDE and Linux Mint in general, but I am a fan of the KDE desktop. I have never, ever had any problems under Linux Mint (ubuntu) whatever the desktop environment and LMDE.
Do you think I would be as satisfied with Q4OS? If I change, it is mainly for the KDE desktop that I love.
After installing Q4OS, are there any specific settings to do, if so which ones please. I would not like to launch into unknown territory and if so would you be willing to help me. On the other hand, I do not want answers like "Google is your friend". If I ask a question or ask for help, it is because I would have already done some research.
Thanking you in advance

Yes, pending updates icon is displayed in the system tray, you only need to install update manager or discover package manager.
