Hello,
This text has been translated with a translator, I apologize for any grammatical or other errors!
About a month ago I was thinking about switching from Windows to Linux and have nearly completed the switch. Unfortunately, I have a problem that I cannot solve.
I have installed Q4OS Basic and all the other apps I need including LibreOffice 24.2.5.2, as a flatpak version. At the weekend I noticed that X11 is activated by default instead of Wayland. I wanted to use Wayland and installed it with: “$ sudo apt install plasma-workspace-wayland”. After rebooting, I activated Wayland. Everything ran without any problems, except LibreOffice. When I start LibreOffice, it closes itself after about 9 seconds. When I start LibreOffice via the console, I get the following errors:
Gtk-Message: 17:51:04.216: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"
Gtk-Message: 17:51:04.262: Failed to load module "window-decorations-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 17:51:04.262: Failed to load module "colorreload-gtk-module"
I read on the web that I should simply reinstall xapp. I tried this too, but it didn't work. I get the error message:
E: No installation candidate exists for package “xapp”.
q4os@q4os:~$ sudo apt install xapp

Package xapp is not available, but is referenced by another package
referenced by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, that it has been replaced
or is only available from another source.
However, the following packages replace it:
xapp-sn-watcher:i386 libxapp-gtk3-module:i386 xapp-sn-watcher libxapp-gtk3-module
Switching back to X11 does not solve the problem and LibreOffice closes automatically.
Can someone help? Thank you very much!
Kind regards
