Login not possible

Dear Q4OS-community,

I've installed Q4OS 5.4 on my laptop using the installer for Windows and used it for the past few months and everything worked fine. But a few days ago, when I intended to install the newest updates for various programs, an error message showed up that said like "The free disk space is low, 0MB available." (The disk space has already been low due to all my installed programs).

When I started the OS up again a few days later, the OS got hung up after I clicked on "login"; the startup/login screen didn't show up either. I've already restarted the laptop a few times, and have left it running for approximately 30 minutes after signing in. Both the battery percentage and the clock on the login screen didn't change during that period of time, but when I closed the notebook lid, the screen went black and turned on again when opening the lid.

So my question is, is there any way to fix this problem or at least to access my data in the personal folder using the Windows OS on this laptop?

Hello, thanks for both your quick reply and help. Resizing the virtual disk did solve the issue.
