why doesn't our XFCE4 repo have xfce4-notes?

I installed Xfce; but after noticing that xfce4-notes apparently didn't install, I went to install it myself, and discovered that the repo doesn't have it. Why not?

Apparently there is more than one Debian-based distro that can't or won't use xfce4-notes. Last time I tried Devuan, I found that I can't have xfce4-notes there either. If I recall, the devs told me on the forum that it would have broken something or other in the distro. Does Q4OS have a similar problem?

Re: why doesn't our XFCE4 repo have xfce4-notes?

Q4OS is Debian-based and uses the same repositories. Look at available versions of xfce4-notes for Debian. You'll see that it is not available for Bullseye (10) and Bookworm (11). There is a hole between 9 and 12. I don't know why. I believe it's the reason why it is not available either for the corresponding versions of Q4OS, Gemini (4) and Aquarius (5).

Got it, not a Q4OS problem but a Debian problem.
