I am new to Q4OS and after I played with it on a VirtualBox, I would like to install it on my old Thinkpad T22 laptop. My T22 laptop is currently running Ubuntu 12.04.5 with LXDE desktop environment.
It has:
Intel Mobile Pentium III 800
512MB RAM
S3 Graphics Ltd. SuperSavage IX/C SDR video controller with 8MB
14.1" TFT display with 1024x768 resolution
20GB HDD
My question is, would it be better to try to install Q4OS on it and if so, which version would be the best option? Is Q4OS lighter than Ubuntu 12.04 with LXDE desktop environment?
PS: I know that I can easily buy a more modern laptop and put my old T22 in the trash but I want to revive it as a hobby project and see what will be the maximum usage of it.

We would recommend you to try Q4OS 5 Trinity stable https://q4os.org/downloads1.html

Agreed. Q4OS Trinity. Should run great on that T22.
Calm down, it's only ones and zeroes

Is it better to install an older version of Q4OS or I can go with the latest one?

I'm sure that Q4OS Team's recommendation is the best one.
