i want to persistently configure a wireguard interface. There used to be an old-fashioned way of doing similar with the /etc/network/interfaces file. my systemd-networkd is disabled by default. is there any way to use the old way of doing this or should i be thinking of using systemd-networkd or networkManager instead?
If the latter, how do i disable tdenetworkmanager in my systemd?
Thanks.

As it transpired, it appears that tdenetworkmanager is an applet which i can leave running. I simply enabled the systemd-networkd service and configured the wireguard interface appropriately.
I notice that iwd.service is running, and so is wpasupplicant.service. I did not enable these manually.
Hope this helps somebody somewhere.
