Image uploading plugin

Good evening Q4OS Team!

As you know, when users report bugs, it is important to show, what exactly happening on their computers using screenshots. Currently users can upload screenshots using attachments.
But there are two drawbacks:
1. User can upload only three screenshots per post.
2. The screenshot`s max size is only 300kb which is in my opinion very small. Quite often, I am forced to reduce the size of my screenshots using a graphics application before posting them as the attachments. I do not even mention the photos, taken from my phone, because sometimes there are situations, when I just can not make a normal screenshot.

So, what can we do?
There is a nice Postimage plugin, that will allow users to upload their screenshots directly into Postimage servers. "The Postimage plugin adds a tool to quickly upload and attach images to posts."
As a result, the users will be able to upload a heavyweight screenshots, and those screenshots will not consume any space on your web server. They all will be stored into different postimage.org servers. Also, as written in postimages.org - Your images will never be removed for inactivity.

So, can you please add this plugin to the q4os.org forum? I think, this will be very useful for you and forum members.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502   If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Re: Image uploading plugin

We will have a look at it. In the longer term, we need to move this forum to a different forum platform to achieve compatibility with new PHP versions. We have chosen PhpBB.

Re: Image uploading plugin

Although the plugin looks nice, it embeds third-party javascript code that we will not control in any way. This is not what we want to do as it affects security and opens up a potential vulnerability.
