Hello,
I'm trying to install Q4OS on an old computer: emachines EZ1600 (Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz / 1GB / 160GB). The installation of the 32bits version from a USB key went well (q4os-5.2-i386-instcd.r2.iso).
When rebooting, the machine quickly freezes.
Do you think my hardware is not compatible (I've found a few posts on the subject)?
For information, I had previously installed a ZorinOS, but the 32-bit version is no longer supported.
Thanks in advance for your help

Here is a screen capture of the last display before freezing on black screen.

That looks like a graphics driver issue. It would be helpful, if you would try to install plain Debian Bookworm and post back the result. You could also try to boot Debian live media.
If Debian works, you can install Q4OS desktop on top of it using this method https://q4os.org/dqa017.html

Thanks ! I will try the Debian install this evening.

Basic Debian installed with LXQt. But the message is worrying.
"This system is not ready for Q4OS setup".

Well, we have updated the setup script, try to re-download and run it once again.

What a script! Great job.
My dinosaur is now running Q4OS. I'll be able to compare it with other distributions.
Thanks for your help.
