XBPS as an alternative to APT?

Using Void's multi platform PKG manager instead of Q4OS team developing a new one? It seems feasible, XBPS supports Alpine, Void, Exherbo and Arch

Q4os is based on Debian. And apt is a time-tested solution that copes very well with the tasks set for it. I don't think the xbps packet handler will be built into Q4os.

Its more stable than APT, because of the modern approach to the PKG DBs its harder to corrupt it, I think I speak for everyone when I say we've all had to, at least one time, have to fix the DB manually

I have been using systems based on Debian for fifteen years. And the apt package manager handled its functions perfectly. I have not encountered any of its shortcomings. Yes, apt is not the fastest package manager, but where is the rush?

P.S.

By the way, this is open source software. The apt and xbps. So if you want, you can start integrating the xbps package manager into Debian. But first, come up with a name for this monster. I suggest naming it to FrankenDebian.

Been using Debian/Debian-based distro's since the late 90's, and never had to fix the DB manually.
