Hello there!
Thanks all Q4OS development team for such wonderful OS!
All works fine except one small issue: fwsetup doesn't work if called from installed GRUB, laptop reboots but I see only black screen instead of usual efi settings. But if I boot from liveusb and choose fwsetup all works fine.
Secureboot disabled. The system is installed on nvme ssd. No dualboot.
What can I do to fix this? Big thanks!

We will check it. Meanwhile, you could search for Debian workarounds, it should work for Q4OS too.

Thank you!
I have tried almost all solutions googled but nothing helps. Hope you will find the way.

We would guess a hardware dependent issue, as we are not able to reproduce it anyhow on our test machines. You could report a hardware related bug at our bug tracker https://sourceforge.net/p/q4os/tickets/ , please make a specification of the hardware in question.

it's me again. problem solved but in a bit strange way:
- plug out nvme
- boot to bios
- power off
- plug in nvme
- in bios nvme is not available and you cannot boot with it
- enable secure boot
- in bios add grub64efi to trusted
- disable secure boot
- boot to linux and boot to bios now available
