Error(s) launching Q4OS after Aquarius Windows install.

Gang,

I used the Aquarius Windows installer to install Q4OS alongside Windows 7 on a Thinkpad W520 with 266 GB of disk free and 16 GB RAM.

The install appears to have succeeded as I get prompted to select either Windows 7 or Q4OS.

However after selecting Q40S the following is displayed:

Loading Q4OS Aquarius operating system ...
Loading initial ramdisk...
Initializing system ...
Gave up waiting for root file system device.  Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
    - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT!  UUID=75E7487D19FCEA90 does not exist.  Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.35.0 (Debian 1:1.35.0-4+b3) build-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

I searched the forum and, in part, someone had the same messages in a long litany of other issues, but no resolution was posted.  See:

Secondarily, what is the proper way to exit?    I used help and none of the commands seemed germane.   I also used exit, logoff, shutdown but to no avail so I simply powered down.

I thank you for any assistance you care to afford.
