Thank you. Thanks for the reply. I asked this because if you install a Debin 12 x64 system from a live cd, you run into this serious problem. Here link to bug report:

And I would like to ask you one more thing. Is the included package in the live cd responsible for this error? I mean raspi-firmware?

Q4OS 5 live media don't suffer from this issue. You can safely use them.

No, it will not upgrade automatically. However we don't recommend upgrading major to major version, you could check https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4323
