Automatic screen locking no more working

I'm using Q4OS 4.2, Plasma.

In the past, automatic screen locking was working as expected. Three months ago I disabled it. Now I want to re-enable it, using System Configuration interface. Unfortunately the screen no more locks automatically after the specified delay (of course, I don't touch the keyboard nor the mouse).

When I create a new user account and log in with it, screen locking is working fine.
I edited my ~/.kdeconfig/kscreenlockerrc file to have the same (minimal) content, but this doesn't solve my issue:

[$Version]
update_info=kscreenlocker.upd:0.1-autolock

[Daemon]
Timeout=1

I suppose I must have inadvertently corrupted something in the system, but I have no idea what.

The only difference I can see is that in the new user session, a process named kscreenlocker_greet is running, while it is not running in my own session.
Any help greatly appreciated.
