We are approaching towards Q4OS 5 Aquarius stable release, as Debian 12 Bookworm has been made stable already https://www.debian.org/News/2023/20230610 . We still need to tune up some Q4OS tools. It should take about two weeks for 64-bit Plasma and Trinity Q4OS 5 Aquarius live media, and another two weeks for 32-bit edition to be completed and released. Meanwhile, some testing, or release candidate versions may be released too. Please note that the release date may be slightly shifted.

Sweet, I use Debian testing on my main computer and I am liking it so I am excited to use q4os 5 on my work laptop. I just logged in to ask. I am hoping it will upgrade smoothly or at least there will be a way.

Downloaded 5.1 and installed in a VM. So far so good. Looking forward to the MX tools integration. Hopefully everything will work as development continues.
Just to ask, is it possible to switch to the debian sid branch or could that conflict with the q4os repos?

It shouldn't conflict directly, but it will run into issues sooner or later.

Its a very smooth experience and even without the MX Tools its a great distro for those who want ease of use and a responsive community if they need help.
