Hiyall,
I'm trying to get the desktop to work how I want. It was at 1360x768 but that wasn't perfect. I changed to 800x600 even though I knew that would not be correct. I actually want to go to 2560x1600. For the first few changes, the system asked me to apply and OK. Now it won't do that. Is there another place I can make the changes I want other than to right click the desktop>display settings>display?

Are you speaking of the EeePC 1011?
From the specifications on Wikipedia it has a maximum screen resolution of 1366x768 (not 1360x768). Forget 2560x1600.

see attached.
I change to the size I want but it won't allow me to scroll down to click 'apply' and 'OK'.
Perhaps there is a command line input that will work?

Probably the "Configure KDesktop" window is larger than your display and the Cancel - Apply - OK buttons are out of the screen.
Press the "Windows" key (between Ctrl and Alt), click with the mouse inside the window and drag it with the mouse. Then release the mouse and the key. Repeat if necessary until you see window's bottom with the Cancel - Apply - OK buttons.
This works with Plasma. I hope it works with TDE too.

No it doesn't. Alt seems to work in Mint to do that but neither your or my (alt) works on q4. Any other ideas?

With the Win key (with the flag), not the Alt key.

I KNOW. That doesn't work either.

Sorry, YOU was speaking of the Alt key.
Then maximize the window and hide the taskbar, maybe the buttons are not far and will be become visible.

@PeterLinu
You should to set the screen resolution to display native and use "screen scaling" instead of resolution settings. So you get the best results by the most clean way.
