Snapd and q4os (Solved)

Hi guys, thank you for reading this.

I am running q4os on and old dell lattitude d430 2 gig ram. I use it for work and have LXDE install (lighter on ram then TDE). I have installed p3x-onenote and snap-store after using synaptic to install snapd but I can not start the programs or find menu entries for them. I tried using the terminal to start them but it said command not found. Am I missing something?

Re: Snapd and q4os (Solved)

I solved my own problem for the most part. I used lxshortcut to make a launcher and placed it in /usr/share/applications. Snapd installs applications to /snap so you need to link the shortcut to the executable file, in this case /snap/p3x-onenote/current/p3x-onenote. Once you make the shortcut in /usr/share/applications it with show up in LXDE menu system under other.

Incase anyone else needs to find the location
