I recently installed Q4OS on a small ASUS-eee and note that the clock is set to UTC, which is what my router is set to.
How do I inform the system that I am at UTC-5? (Eastern Standard Time)
Actually, I HAVE already done this. But the clock continues to show UTC.

Q4OS keeps the hardware time as UTC. You only need to set your timezone up, so run in terminal:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Thanx! The taskbar clock configuration seems to run on a different setting, but that was easy to adjust.
So far compared to a few other OSes, Q4OS runs quite well on my little 15-yea-rold ASUS-eee, with its 16GB of soldered-in "SSD" and its 2GB RAM!
Only problem so far is, that due to the 1024x600 screen, I cannot see the bottom responses on some system screens, and have to guess where the "Apply" or "OK" is.
BTW, where is that beautiful Analog-clock screen-saver located? I'd like move it to the full-time screen background.
Much better than the old Macslow clock I've been using for 10+ years now!
