Q4os update / q4os mise jour

Bonjour
Avant quand je demarrais q4os il me proposait de le mettre à jour, maintenant plus rien. Comment faut'il faire merci.

Did you change anything to your system between "before" and "now"?
I have Update Manager installed, but in no case an update is proposed each time I boot Q4OS; it happens only from time to time (say once or twice a week).

Check that Update Manager is still installed on your system (check mark in the Software Center).

You can also search the forum for "update AND manager"; maybe some thread is related to your problem.

Alternatively, you can make a manual check and upgrade:

$ sudo apt update
$ apt list --upgradable
$ sudo apt upgrade

The first command updates your local database with the latest versions of the packages available in the repositories.
The second one checks whether a more recent version is available for any package installed on your system.
The third one installs the new versions. Of course, if there is nothing "--upgradable", no upgrade will happen.

The forum notifications feature does work, but for some stupid reason Google blocks notification messages from Q4OS forum for gmail users. It would be helpful, if you would complain at Google, that Gmail blocks a regural e-mail for you from Q4OS forum mailer address forum@q4os.org .

As far as I am concerned, I do receive Q4OS notifications on my gmail account.
But I miss notifications I subscribed to on another website. I'll send feedback to Google concerning this one.
