Hi, I have tried Q4OS Gemini live DVD which worked fine, I tried to install, but it looks like the installation process got stuck with
Applying Desktop profile, it may take a while, please be patient
>[7819]: current message > Download complete and in download only mode
(the number in [ ] augment approximately by 1 per seconds). htop shows 300 % CPU usage (12-cores) on command calamares and 100 % on qsinst. Is this a normal behavior during installation process (I have internet connexion with optical fiber and ethernet for LAN), or has something gone wrong ? Thank you in advance

I checked a bit further, what is "hanging" seemed to be
ps -u root -f | grep qs
root 67360 54931 99 09:04 ? 02:11:26 qsinst /tmp/.awkrr15ljkroot.tmpdir//setup_q4os-firefox_4.2-a1_all.esh
I lost my patience and I killed the process
kill -9 67360
and installation terminated. Let's hope the system won't be corrupt...

What desktop profile did you select upon the install process ?

If I remember correctly I chose "Desktop installation" (had choice between Desktop, server, live, something like that). If you are talking about Desktop environment, I didn't change anything, so it is trinity.
Now I can boot on installed system, installation of firefox blocks on "Searching for language packages ..." (which presumably was blocking the installation). I should probably mark this as solved and open a new thread?
