There is known reported Debian bug connected to kernel upgrade on some 686 machines, see https://sourceforge.net/p/q4os/tickets/189/ . You likely need to keep using the previous 5.10.0-16 kernel and wait for a possible Debian fix. Thanks for reporting this at the Debian site.
