Mouse Settings [ SOLVED ]

Greetings All,

New to Q4OS. Just installed. Have been using another distro with XFCE desktop. Now I am back to KDE desktop. Got icons on desktop screen but I would like to double click on Icons instead of default single click, tried looking in Settings, Input Devices and Mouse. Cannot find where to change that. Tried Configure Desktop, Mouse but unable to find where to change mouse click to double click. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

Thanks much

Re: Mouse Settings [ SOLVED ]

Found the answer. The solution was to go to: Settings => System Settings => Workspace => General Behavior. There you can change the mouse click to either one or two clicks. Why would Kde developers put a mouse setting in Workspace ?  They should put it back to where it belongs. Hope this helps others.

Hello txm0523!

That fix didn't work for me.

However my fix was changing the file manager from dolphin to thunar.
Now mouse double-click works perfectly.

Re: Mouse Settings [ SOLVED ]

I linked to the desktop pycharm and q6designer and neither will work with a double click.
But if I click a bunch of times real fast then those programs will start.
So seems like there is a problem with double clicking and it might be related to mouse click speed.

Do you have the same problem with another mouse? Sometimes a microswitch in a mouse happens to bounce or have poor contact.

Hchiper I think is right, it may be a problem with the mouse itself and presents itself at different times and not at other times. Testing with a different mouse may indicate whether its a hardware issue.
