Hi
I am new to linux and to q4os too. Is there a command how I can install a browser? I would like to install Qupzilla.
thank you for your support!

Qupzilla it's not in Bullseye's nor in Q4OS' repos. You might try the one from Ubuntu https://pkgs.org/search/?q=Qupzilla download and install with
sudo apt install ./qupzilla_3.0.0-0ubuntu3_all.deb
note that you have to run that command within the same directory you downloaded it.

the laptop has a 32bit system... the link contains only 64bit downloads, or did I miss something? thank you for your support!

I have found something, can I use this for q4os?
this is the website:
https://www.ubuntupit.com/install-qupzi … -opensuse/
and the tutorial says for 32bit:
wget https://www.qupzilla.com/uploads/qupzil … 9_i386.deb
sudo chmod +x qupzilla_1.8.9_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i qupzilla_1.8.9_i386.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
so do I have to type in all this code in the command? even the first line?

the first command wget does not work
it says something like this(translated from german/I am german): the zertifikate owner matches not to the hostname www.qupzilla.com
what does that mean?

It means the site is no longer available, and as a matter of fact, I just found that qupzilla isn't either, at least not under that name, it's called now Falkon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkon
Falkon (formerly QupZilla) is a free and open-source web browser.
Which you can easily install with
sudo apt install falkon
However, it hasn't been updated in quite some time(almos 3 years) and as far as I can tell, there's no 32-bit version. Some browsers stopped supporting 32-bit systems, but a few of them still do. I'm not sure which ones available in the repos may or may not do, as I have a 64-bit system. In their websites, they do offer 32-bit downloads:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/a … op-release
https://software.opensuse.org/download. … e=palemoon
https://www.slimjet.com/en/dlpage.php
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/

For 32-bit I have had success with using Firefox-ESR, Palemoon-nonsse, SlimJet, and SeaMonkey. Only FF-ESR and Palemoon-nonsse are in the Q4OS repos. SlimJet can be downloaded and installed from a deb file. SeaMonkey can be downloaded and placed in any folder of your choice, it does not require an "installation".
I use SeaMonkey the most. But depending on your 32-bit system you may not be able to use anything that requires SSE2. The last SeaMonkey I can use on non-SSE2 machines is version 2.49.4.
SlimJet is similar. You have to use an earlier version.
Palemoon-nonsse is supported here with a special install routine. Do a search in the forum. But it also is an old version.
Firefox-ESR will probably work but it is pretty memory hungry. You will need to work at changing the configuration to make it work best in 32-bit, especially with low memory.
I have also used links2, Midori (both in Q4OS repo), Netsurf, and otter-browser (both not in Q4OS repos). They all work in 32-bit and have varying degrees of usefulness. SeaMonkey and Palemoon are probably the best for close to handling the modern web.
