Is the OS go and fetch updates by itself ?

Sorry for the question but I am more familiar with other distros but does Q4OS goes for updates by itself ? I haven't found an applet for it. It does works if I do it in a terminal. (sudo apt update). No big deal though.

Yes, there's a tool for that in Software center called update manager. There's also this approach https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.ph … 708#p21708 to enable the OS to perform automatic updates without user intervention.

Yes I miss that one on the list off programs to install. IMO, it should be installed by default though. I have more to learn about this new distro. So far it works like a charm on my anemic Atom Eeepc. That the "quickest" !!! so far.
