Accessing drives

I have Q4OS booting from within W10. A while ago i created a small Ext4 formatted drive (via GParted from within Q4OS) as extra storage, but the OS simply refuses to write to it even though it is mounted. Any suggestions on how I can get the OS to use this extra space?

Do you have the perms set to not just root? Can you cd to the partition?
