System Q4 Gemini (KDE 5.20.5) installed bare metal (not a vm) on an older Mac mini.
The screen is too dim for my liking. How do I brighten it?
I've done a fair bit of searching.and read about using the mouse scroll wheel while hovered over the battery icon on the task bar. I unhid the so called battery/brightness icon. It tells me that there is no battery. Makes sense on a desktop. But hovering over the icon and spinning the scroll wheel does nothing to brighten/dim the screen.
I've also read about installing tdepowersave, but that package is not available to be installed. By any chance does it reside in a repository that onyl gets added when Trinity is installed?
It seems like a real short coming not to have a simple control panel applet that implements this function.

How do you remove app icons that were put on the panel via "Add to panel (Widget)" instead of "Pin to taskbar"?
By the same token, the battery/brightness icon was added to the system tray but I can't find a way to remove it.
