When I load Q4OS, then click install, I get a message that there isn't enough room on my hard drive to install. I reduced the C drive the maximum. I don't want to dual-boot; I want to have Q4OS take the entire drive (ssd). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,

It seems you are running an installer from within Windows. This will not remove Windows and will not replace it with Q4OS and will not use the full SSD.
In order to use the full SSD for Q4OS, follow this procedure.
Be aware that this will totally erase your SSD: Windows and all your documents, pictures... and programs will be erased forever (except if your SSD has several partitions and if you make judicious choices during install) so make copies if necessary.
Also check first the minimal hardware requirements.
Edit:
Note that a copy of the Windows directory will never enable you to restore your Windows installation.
