Hello,
i wanted to install the new Q4OS Gemini 4.6 with Trinity desktop (q4os-4.6-x64-tde.r1.iso) on my MSI Modern A10M laptop but it's not working for now. The launching menu appears but when I press enter i'm stuck on the first screen. Same thing with the debug choice. I tested this image with md5sum on my boot device and it's ok. It's very strange because the installation is ok when trying the full q4os image that containing Plasma desktop. I have the same issue with the previous version of Q4os with tde (v 3.15)
Thanks for your help

Could you help with that ? Which commands to type? When i'm on the first screen with these 2 lines : Gemini live and Gemini live (failsafe), i can do Ctrl+c to obtain a prompt with "boot >" but none command is accepted...

Well, now we understand you don't get system boot up. Are any error messages printed on the screen ?

I finally tested to boot Q4OS v4.6 on another laptop (Lenovo V130) with same results !! I tried to boot in UEFI and CSM with no luck.
The only identical hardware between these 2 computers is the storage : a nvme ssd (size and manufacturer are different though).
Well here are the error messages i had on the 2 laptops when trying to boot :
when choosing Gemini live (failsafe) :
Loading /live/vmlinuz... ok
Loading /live/initrd.img ...ok
Booting kernel failed : Invalid argument
when choosing normal boot, Gemini Live, i got stuck on the "Loading Q4OS operating system..." screen...

@arcadiabay
Could you try booting with CSM disabled, in true UEFI mode ?
Did anyone else notice booting issues in UEFI/CSM mode ?

Mea culpa...
i finally got it working in UEFI !! (Q4OS v 4.6 TDE Version). I had to set in BIOS :
- Boot mode select to "UEFI"
- Secure Boot Support to "Enabled"
- Secure Boot Mode to "Standard" (and not Custom !!)
