Hello, I have a Samba server with Debian 11 and 2 other PCs always with Debian 11 and everything works.
The problem is that the third pc with Q4OS Gemini doesn't see the Samba server, can someone help me?
Thank you very much.

Have you checked to ensure that you have the relevant smb client software installed?

These are the packages installed, I note that the Samba server sees Q4OS.

So, if the server sees the Q4OS machine then I think you need to be looking at the smb.conf file on the Q4OS machine.
Have you simply copied over the file from one of your other machines?

OK - and did you alter that to reflect the name of the client - I guess so? I also guess you're using Konqueror to try to connect?
In the days when I used to use linux in a domain I found smb4k to be the most effective tool for connecting to servers. It is in the repos and may be worth installing to see if you can get to the server that way.

Hello, after installing smb4k I managed to connect to the server from the terminal, and later with Konqueror.
Unfortunately, not being familiar with Trinity and Konqueror, I didn't understand that I had to enter the ip address.
With KDE, LXQT or MATE there is no need.
Anyway thank you so much for your support and your time.

No problem - glad it is now OK.

Hello, after installing smb4k I managed to connect to the server from the terminal...
How did you do that? I have the same issue here with Gemini. Centaurus connected to my Samba drive flawlessly.
