Hi everibody!
As I wrote a lot of times, Q4OS is my preferite linux distro for very old computers.
Now I am writing from an Acer Extensa 5620Z from 2007, (Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2310 @ 1.46GHz - 64 bit - 2 Gram)
System: Trinity R14.0.6 - Q4OS 3.15.2-n1 (Centaurus) - 4.19.0-17-amd64 x86_64.
My problem is that after a long researche I found the Baghira Style and Windows Decorations that is similar to the look of MacOS. I like the 3 round and coloured buttons in the windows :-)
The problem is that it works only with the very latest TDE release TDE 14.0.10.
As you can see above, my release is the 14.0.6. and with this older version it works with some problems.
I tried to update with : sudo apt update + sudo apt upgrade, with no success.
1st question:
Can someone tell me how to achieve my goal ==> to ugrade my TDE to the latest release?
2nd question:
In case I succeed in my intent: does the latest release work well with the rest of my actual installed system?
Many thx in advance

There is no official way to upgrade Q4OS 3.x to newer Trinity releases.
There's 2 things you can do to get it:
1. Probably the easier solution, is to upgrade to Q4OS 4.x Trinity. Currently has 14.0.10. With Debian Bullseye becoming the stable release tomorrow, it won't be long before this is officially released as well as the current release, so probably at some point would want to do that anyway.
2. You can add the Trinity repos for Debian buster directly from the Trinity dev team and attempt to update from them. This isn't a very preferrable solution if you're not REALLY comfortable with working with linux from a commandline, as there is a VERY good chance this will result in a broken X system, and will need manual intervention to repair. Also, obviously, would be UTTERLY unsupported by the Q4OS team.

Thank you very much for your quick answer. I'll do nothing, in fact I prefer to maintain the "status quo" instead going to headhache for something not really necessary.
In a couple of months I'll give a try to Q4OS 4.x Trinity. Not now, that I have not much time for those second level adjustments.
Again, many thanks

I don't know why, but now Baghira works perfectly on my Q4OS, 3.15, 64 bit, Trinity.
After my last post and related replies I had given up on it. Then I did an update, and now it works. I think I have to thank the Q4OS team, (and maybe to change the title and write solved)
