Currently it seems Q4OS uses Ubuntu's package for Firefox, isn't it? I suggest just use the binaries from Mozilla directly. This is what MX Linux does. They even repack the Mozilla binaries into deb packages. But if you afraid there is legal problems then just download the binaries from Mozilla and have the installer to add the .desktop file to handle desktop integration for it. Thanks.
