I SWEAR I've asked this before, but I can't find it in a search, so asking away. How do you keep Q4OS from auto recreating the folders in your home drive. I know which folders I want, and which I don't, and I don't need the system to keep creating folders that I don't need. In fact, I don't even want it creating folders that I DO want...I'm perfectly capable of typing mkdir.

You likely need to edit files:
$HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs
$HOME/.configtde/user-dirs.dirs
$HOME/.configkde/user-dirs.dirs
The contents of those files should equal.

I deleted all lines from $HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs & $HOME/.configtde/user-dirs.dirs, I don't have a $HOME/.configkde/user-dirs.dirs file, but the stupid folders still keep reappearing. What next?

Probably this is being caused by /etc/xdg/autostart/xdg-user-desktop which triggers xdg-user-dirs-update - which makes sure the standard user folders are in place.
Just move that out of /etc/xdg/autostart/ and hopefully all will be well.

Yes, this stopped those folders from coming back!! Thank you!!!! So much happier with my install now that I have just the folders I want.
