Login issue

I have been using q4os for a while, but 2 days ago something strange has been happening.

When i logged in, it turned to a black screen for 3 seconds, then brung me to a login screen. I tried some commands, and now it says "please check if dcopserver is running."

can you please help me fix this?

Please login to the console and run commands to update:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt dist-upgrade
