Failed to connect to the Internet

Hi there! I am a beginner in linux. I installed Q4OS on dual boot but couldn't connect to the internet. I inserted the ethernet cable to my computer. And then tried to access to the internet and it refused saying that 'Please check your internet connection' But when I switched to Windows 7 , I could easily access to the internet. How can I use internet in Q4OS?

This could be a network driver issue, that is, not having the proper one installed.  But, without specifics about your system, it's next to impossible for anyone to help diagnose the problem.

To figure out what drivers you may need, you can get network card information for your system by opening up a terminal windows and type:

lspci
