Update in Discover

Why is there no option to install Updates through Discover. I find I have to use Synaptic to upgrade an application.

You mean there's no discover notification applet in KDE panel? I got it here, always update using discover, and it works just fine. What do you mean by "upgrade an application"? 1 app?
