That depends on application you have. If it is native Linux application, which has been installed using Synaptic package manager or apt-get, you can search for language file. Usually it is named as *******-l10n-xx. Where ******* is your application name in Synaptic, xx is first two letters of language. For example: firefox-l10n-xpi-fr - French language packs for Firefox
If you have downloaded application from Internet and installed it manually, please contact its developer.
P.S. You could at least white name of your application. We're not clairvoyants here!
