What desktop are you using? Trinity? Plasma? Plasma has ksysguard and it can be installed in Trinty too.

I tried Ksysguard but it looks different from what I'm used to (I'm on Trinity so it might be tapping into different libraries), I'm currently using Xfce's task manager and that works fine. GNOME System monitor I think is good too. You could go farther and look for other task managers, if you care to search for them (like SysMonTask, that attempts to mimic Windows 10's). A lot of these might not be in the debian repos though, in which case you have to get them from Github or elsewhere.
