Autorun DVD - CD in VLC

Hello all,

I have just downloaded and installed onto the internal HD - Q4OS Centaurus, Trinity, Live 64bit / x64.

Getting it set up to my preference, except...

I can not get an audio CD or a video DVD to play automatically when inserted with VLC that came pre-loaded.

Had a look on the Forum and did a search, neither came up trumps.

If anyone has some good gen on this then please share it with me.

I am a first time user of this OS so be gentle with me.

TDE control panel > Peripherals > Storage media > select Unmounted CD or DVD > add action Open in VLC

Hello q4osteam,

Thank you for your reply. This is what I did:

TDE Menu > Settings > Control Centre > Peripherals > Storage Media

In the pop up window are two tabs, Notifications and Advanced. That's where I stopped in case I really mesed things up as I could not see in the Notifications list a reference to Unmounted CD or DVD..

As I said "I am a first time user of this OS ..." and as such I can only do things myself by trial and error, my logic is limited.

If you are willing to tell me where I am going wrong that would be appreciated.
