Can't update latest i386 install

Any time I try to run Desktop Profiler I get an "Error Code 40" and it fails. Seems to be something to do with Ruby 2.5 the install seems "Broken" if I get the message correctly.
It gave me some APT command to fix broken install but that did not work.
I seem to be stuck in an endless loop... Can't get anywhere trying to get old HP Mini 110 running on a newer OS.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Can't update latest i386 install

We are not able to reproduce the issue, so we would need some debug information from your system to be able to investigate it. Please run in terminal:
$ reportq4
and send the debug file generated via email support@q4os.org , or attach it here for us to analyze.

Run in terminal:
$ sudo apt-get check
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt dist-upgrade
and post the terminal output here.

Please read https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502

Re: Can't update latest i386 install

We can see the error message in log files:

dpkg-deb (subprocess): decompressing archive member: lzma error: compressed data is corrupt

That could indicate a possible hardware issue. If this is not the case, you could try to fix the issue the following commands in terminal:
$ sudo apt clean
$ sudo apt autoclean

Thereafter run in terminal:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install -f
and post the terminal output here.

Re: Can't update latest i386 install

That looks fine, you can now install applications. In any way we would suspect the system from a possible hardware failure.
