Cannot add boot parameters

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install Q4OS Centaurus trinity i386 on my old acer laptop. When i boot from the usb and select q4os i recieve an error about acpi. I have found a solution on the forums to disable acpi however this involves adding a boot parameter and for some reason the live usb does not have this option. How do i add a boot parameter without the option to do so?

Did you try with Q4OS Live (failsafe)? I'm not sure whether it'll work or not but's worth a try.
