Installation problem Scorpion (2.0.2)

I just got a new box and installed Orion without issue, I then tried to install Scorpion (multi boot) alongside it from a freshly created usbdrive. I tested hash of iso before burning and all was fine.
After Installing and rebooting I got to the setup language stage which I did without issue, Then the profile part, which again seemed to go without issue(Full). Then after a reboot I got an error screen stating

Could not read network connection list.
/home/dai/.DCOPserver_q4osscorpion_0
Please check that the "dcopserver" is running

after clicking on ok I then got

Could not start tdeinit. Check your installation.

After clicking ok I am presented with the login screen and any attempt to login gives me the same results as above.

I don't know if this is related but I have an error message from dmesg stating

[drm:i915_stolen_to_physical] *ERROR* conflict detected with stolen region: [0xbc000000 - 0xc0000000]

Orion appears to be working fine and I have not noticed any graphics problems at all, so default i915 driver seems to be working ok.

I have attached a copy of the results of

sudo lshw

so you can see my spec if that might help.
Any suggestions?
