how to install and maintain a custom kernel?

Hi, i am wanting to install a custom kernel, probably ck or hardened.

I've only ever done it on arch, which had high quality pkgbuilds that did it for you, how should I do this on q4os? and more importantly, how should i have it automaticly rebuild on updates?

i have need for a non-stock kernel
