Shutdown dialog bugs

I have already reported these bugs on previous forums, just let me re-post it here as well so that you won't forget:

1) In the shutdown dialog if you hover the mouse cursor over a button to show its description, and then you move your cursor over another button, the tool-tips will start to stack up underneath the dialog window: http://imgur.com/JayTrsf

2) A single white pixel shows up near the shutdown dialog moments before this "dark wave" moves down the screen: http://imgur.com/dyWsDDK

And when it comes to this third one, I'm actually not sure whether you have fixed it or not...

3) Q4OS is really fast, but one has to wait ages for the shutdown dialog to appear. You should do something about that. Maybe remove that "dark wave" moving through the screen?

All 3 are reproducible on some systems, they are all upstream Trinity bugs. You could report them here https://bugs.trinitydesktop.org

This is not a bug - it is a user configurable setting.

Take a look in Control Panel > TDE Components > Session Manager.
The shutdown dialog controls allow you to get rid of the wave and speed things up a bit -

General:-
Uncheck Show fancy logout fadeaway
Uncheck Show logout fadeaway
Uncheck Show logout staus dialog

On login:p
Check Start with and empty session

Default Shutdown Option:-
Check Turn Off Computer

My shutdown is instant on a 2007 vintage machine.

Well, I have created these three bug reports:

Bug 2586 - Stacking tool-tips in the shutdown dialog

Bug 2587 - White pixel near the shutdown dialog

Bug 2588 - On some computers the shutdown dialog appears with the delay

BTW, I have actually managed to report these bugs, but if in the future the Q4OS team sees that a user forgets to report a bug to the TDE team, I think it would a good idea for the Q4OS team to report the bug themselves (of course, if you can reproduce it--as in this case). What might even be a better idea is for the Q4OS team to become the part of the TDE team. It looks like TDE REALLY needs more developers. And in this way the Q4OS team would have more control over the vision of TDE which would be good for both Q4OS and its users.
