Update Manager vs. get-q4os-version

Some months ago I have installed Update Manager from the Software Centre. Updates are performed correctly from time to time.
Today I have watched the progress of an update and I have noticed an update of q4os-base from 3.14.4 to 3.14.5.
But the command get-q4os-version gives 3.12.1-n1, both before and after the update (even after reboot).
Is this the expected behavior of this command or is there something wrong on my system?
Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of this command?

Well, Q4OS version is 3.12. I think q4os-base only updates Q4OS' tools, i.e. software center. Update manager just does the same as if you run from the terminal

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

it updates/upgrades Debian tools/libraries as well as whatever software you've installed. So yeah, I think that's the expected behavior.

The "q4os-base" package version has nothing to do with Q4OS version. You can check version of the "q4os-desktop" package instead.
