ascm-ebook@Callibre:ebook -> Adobe Digital Editions (WINE) -> Callibre

Hello,

I like to read an ebook form my public libary: *.ascm

Personally I don't like this DRM stuff, to read a PDF is much better, but...

I think it sould be in theory work like this under Linux:

0 Adobe ID - ok
1 Get the ADE.exe file - ok
2 Install WINE - ok
3 Configure WINE, so ADE can start
4 transfer the ebook to callibre
5 read the ebook

How I must configure WINE, so that ADE works to show the ebook?

My lending time is 2 days, so I hope I can read the first page in some way...

ADE on WINE - I don't think you'll have much joy. With Winetricks installed then wintericks adobe_diged4 may give you a chance - not sure if it still works though.

If you have an Android phone then this - or similar may be a better route
