Q4OS does not recognize a usb modem

Hello people!
I have a Huawei 3G USB modem, which I tried to use yesterday, but Q4OS won't let me use it as a usb modem, it only recognizes it with mass storage. I also have the usb-modeswitch installed and it does not work either, I have tried it on a laptop that has Linux Mint and it has worked well for me. Why is this happening? I have tried to solve it but I have not been able to make it work.
