New To Q4os

Hiya Folks,

New to Q4os, I have loaded on a old Netbook. NB100, seems to work reasonable. Was using Bionic Puppy but came across a strong recommendation to use this desktop.

Basically seems to run ok. Took a fair while to install, and then just looked like it was hanging. After 2 hours of watching it setting up
"appsetup2"  I took the chance and just clicked the close button. Not much happened, and desktop came up with a warning to setup of the destop profiler. Since then rebooted couple times and all seems ok.

Has there been a problem re this?

Also found chromium super slow, installed Firefox and that seems to work a treat. All in all, I am for the moment a happy chappy.

We are not able to reproduce the issue you encountered. You could safely run the Desktop profiler once again from the Welcome screen. Please post last few messages from the dialog window for us to be able to analyze the issue.
