You might need to reboot to ensure a clean system and if the problem remains you could try running the desktop profiler again and report any output or dialogs.

Are you trying to install Q4OS?
If you have already installed can you open a terminal and enter the command
sudo apt update
and enter your user password when asked, and then copy/paste the output here.

Something must have gone wrong, because the Q4OS installation was not completed.
Please run in terminal:
$ reportq4
and send the debug file generated via email support@q4os.org , or attach it here to analyze.

We have found a glitch in Q4OS install-cd, that could lead in some rare cases to an incomplete installation. The bug will be fixed in the next Q4OS install-cd revision.
@celtico
Thanks for the detailed reporting.

As mentioned above, your Q4OS installation has not completed, it's just broken, due to bug in Q4OS installer. A new fixed installation media will be released in a few weeks.

The bug is fixed, a new installation "install-cd" 3.11 media are immediately available for download from the Q4OS website https://www.q4os.org/downloads1.html
