I have been fiddling with putting Trinity on Ubuntu - initially with the quark release.
The one thing I am missing is the TDE Trinity screen scaling tool.
Is there a way of getting that to run - just as an independent app if not via the software centre?

Not yet, it wouldn't work without the complete Q4OS Trinity ecosystem. We intend to enable the Q4OS Trinity option later. However you can add Trinity repositories and use it native at the moment.

The screen scaling tool in Q4OS is pretty slick.
In the TDE control panels is a Desktop setting, which will allow you to change the resolution of the monitor. It is not as nice as setting the DPI, but it can make text larger.
<https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xo … ze_and_DPI> This is the arch wiki talking about dpi and it offers some different settings that can be used to change the dpi of your monitor.
