HI all
I installed Duplicity it was no where to be seen on the menu. I removed it install Kbackup it showed up in utilities. Does Q4OS require a logout with some new software?
The wallpaper window loads the wallpaper choices than it states network error with an red X in the lower status of the window. though it still downloads available wallpaper information. I found that odd. The web connect works fine though. Maybe is message glitch I will check the logs also.
I hope I can solve your problem

I haven't used duplicity but it looks like a cli (command line interface) program and so I would imagine that no GUI exists and therefore no menu entry is required.

You can use Deja Dup as a GUI for Duplicity as Ive seen it with Ubuntu but cant say about Debian, but you might check it out.

You know, I seen it on other Distributions and I been using it. I Know was called backups. If one look searches for Deja Dup installs it looks for deja dup on the menu it will not be called that confusing for a new users. Why not call it Duplicity gui description backup tool on the menu. I am just sayin
I hope I can solve your problem

Yes I agree it can be confusing if a package runs as a different name to the package name, to seasoned users as well as new users.

A lot of distros, particularly popular ones, dont use the apps name, they keep it simple and just say backups. For newer users its not such a bad thing.
