Have been unable to install Dropbox on KDE Neon most recent iterations.
Back to Q4OS and one of the more noticeable things (in my case), other than no problem whatsoever with Dropbox installation...
the old HP LaserJet1018 printer that seems always give a hassle on most distros, was automatically installed by Q4OS!
No need to go to terminal and do a hp-plugin thing!
Now that is a Christmas miracle!!

The issue is Dolphin with Neon(or any KDE distro that uses it) in regards to Dropbo,x but if you Google, it can be done. Less issues with Nautilus with Dropbox and Neon.

Isn't Dolphin the only file manager on Q4OS ?

KDE version? Yes Dolphin. Not sure why Q4OS doesnt have the issue but it could have something to with the fact that Neon is Ubuntu based and Q4OS is Debian 10 based. Neon is also a minimalist distro install so you may have to add other apps, extensions,, drivers or plugins to get some things to work. Q4OS has everything you need, particularly with the full desktop profile.
Neon is the most up to date KDE distro, always using the latest versions.

KDE Neon probably needs other things as you said.
Funny that LinuxMint MATE or Cinnamon don't have that Dropbox issue (test drove latest 19.3 too).

For the record (helpful maybe to Q4OS dev.?).
Did finally find a word-around to installing Dropbox on KDE Neon's latest:
Installed Synaptic, then libatomic1 and then Dropbox via Discover.

Almost certainly to do with Neon's more barebones approach.
FYI, I tried most of the Buntu-based KDEs before landing on Q4OS - Kubuntu, Neon, Kaos, Chakra, etc. - without exception I found them all to be unstable. Crashes, freezes, graphics issues, problems moving files...
After these experiences I set myself the aim of finding a non-Ubuntu based KDE distro. Manjaro was worse than the Buntus but then someone on the Mint forums recommended Q4OS. I haven't distro-hopped since.

Q4OS is solid for sure!
Glad you finally found one to call "home" deanr.

Neon works very well for me but Kubuntu Ive used and had issues. Ive also used FerenOS KDE which is very nice but Q4OS is very stable and a good choice for most users.
